We are seeking a Claims Handler for our Marine Claims team, which is currently experiencing significant growth. The exposure level in this role will be substantial!

Role Responsibilities
  1. Provide advice to clients regarding Marine Hull claims as needed.
  2. Process all claims documents promptly and respond to related inquiries.
  3. Handle client monies securely, efficiently, and in an auditable manner, proactively managing payments.
  4. Maintain and update in-house systems accurately.
  5. Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and the market.
  6. Perform quality control checks on all documentation.
  7. Adhere to Miller’s policies, procedures, training materials, and controls, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial crime legislation.
  8. Comply with external rules such as Lloyd’s byelaws and FCA regulations.
  9. Promote Miller’s brand and values to enhance its market reputation.
