We are seeking talented individuals to join our claims teams in Norwich. These are hybrid roles, requiring at least three days a week in the office.

Full training and support will be provided. If you excel in delivering high-quality service with attention to detail and strong communication skills, we want to hear from you! Previous claims or insurance experience is preferred but not essential; entry-level candidates with a genuine interest in insurance are welcome.

Note: These roles are technical, working on large, complex, global insurance contracts involving multiple insurers and high-value placements. They are not call centre roles.

You will gain excellent exposure to the commercial insurance industry and work autonomously to deliver outstanding service while developing expertise.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing claim notifications, updates, and collection requests.
  2. Negotiating with insurers/suppliers for beneficial settlements.
  3. Reviewing policy wordings for optimal claims outcomes.
  4. Meeting standards for accuracy, service, and performance targets.
  5. Handling and case managing complex and contentious claims issues.

Requirements:

  1. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  2. Good planning and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to quickly learn technical information.
  4. Analytical skills to resolve complex queries.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Good numeracy skills.
  7. Adaptability and continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred:

  1. Previous claims handling or insurance experience.
  2. Leadership experience for senior roles.
  3. CII qualifications or willingness to study for them.
