Role Details

Location: Liverpool

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

Salary: GBP 25,877 - GBP 29,660 DOE, plus a performance bonus of up to GBP 1,500 annually

Job Overview

We seek experienced, proactive Claims Handlers accustomed to a fast-paced motor insurance environment to join our Recovery department. You will manage your own insurance claims caseload, ensuring efficient recovery and minimal losses, particularly when liability may be attributed to a third party. Providing guidance to claims staff and ensuring compliance with industry regulations are key responsibilities. You will also focus on delivering excellent customer service and being innovative in handling all aspects of customer and third-party claims.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Non-Fault Recovery portfolio effectively
  • Handle claims to deliver optimal outcomes for customers
  • Provide first-class technical claims handling within the Recovery Team
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of indemnity, liability, and financial aspects of claims
  • Review and record all new claims, ensuring minimal leakage
  • Manage claims and gather evidence for prompt resolution
  • Adhere to SLAs within the team and with suppliers
  • Negotiate subrogated outlays
  • Manage aged debt portfolio
  • Liaise with solicitors in litigation cases
  • Provide MI reports on aged debt profiling
