About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join our busy and growing claims team in Morley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid background in property and liability claims, who is ready to take on a varied caseload and work closely with clients and insurers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a range of commercial claims, primarily EL/PL, property, and motor
  • Conduct desktop investigations and attend site visits when required
  • Maintain an efficient diary system and chase claims progress as needed
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve queries
  • Produce claims reports and management information (MI)
  • Present claims information to clients and attend meetings when required
  • Ensure complex claims are managed in line with company procedures
  • Keep personal CPD up to date and maintain a strong working knowledge of Acturis

Requirements

  • Solid experience in property and liability claims handling
  • Strong understanding of insurance law, policy wording, and current case law
  • Excellent investigation and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
  • Highly organised with strong time management
  • Cert CII or working towards (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Acturis (desirable) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Casual dress code
