Hiring Event

We are holding a Hiring Event at our Dorking office (Milton Court, Dorking, RH4 3LZ) on Tuesday 30th July, with morning and afternoon sessions. The event includes an introduction to Unum & the Claims department, a competency interview, and verbal & numerical reasoning tests. A case study will be sent to you to complete before the event. Our Talent Acquisition Team will contact you with further details. Successful candidates will have a start date in September/October.

Role Responsibilities

The Claims Handlers proactively manage and investigate claims to support our customers and develop strong relationships. To succeed, you should:

• Be proactive, curious, and confident in communication
• Have excellent telephone manners
• Communicate effectively with senior executives, C-suite, and HR Directors
• Manage a portfolio in a fast-paced environment
• Be analytical and investigative, spotting patterns and anomalies
• Work autonomously and collaboratively
• Use IT systems daily, including reporting
