Job description
Overview

Responsible for handling and negotiating claims. Compliance with statutory regulations. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. To proactively handle third-party claims aiming to settle cases within optimum time scales. Investigation and evaluation of liability and quantum to achieve the desired resolution for all claims handled.

As a Claims Handler you will be dealing with brokers, solicitors, and suppliers, so you will need excellent communication skills. Additionally, you will require good case management and workload management skills. We are looking for someone with an Insurance background and experience in delivering exceptional customer service to customers through strong communication, relationship management and effective negotiation skills.

To be successful you need to have an inquisitive nature that will enable you to ask appropriate questions and reach accurate decisions. You will be educated to GCSE Level standard (or equivalent) and have strong IT skills.
