Claims Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Claims Coordinator with a passion for excellent customer service to join our local team. In this role, you will ensure that every interaction with BELFOR is engaging, efficient, and effective. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will manage job lifecycle workflows related to Restoration and Reinstatement following insurance claims. Your goal will be to deliver the highest level of customer experience, acting as a key liaison between policyholders, insurance companies, our in-house field teams (technicians, trades, and managers), and subcontractors.

Your Tasks
  1. Take ownership of the claim lifecycle from receipt of the initial instruction to job completion.
  2. Communicate with policyholders via phone and email at all stages of the claim, including initial contact, booking appointments, and resolving queries.
  3. Handle all administrative aspects of each claim, ensuring client systems and portals (including case notes, logs, and records) are accurately maintained within agreed Service Level Agreements.
  4. Serve as a central point of contact for policyholders, insurance clients, field technicians, and office teams to facilitate efficient job completion.
  5. Schedule technicians based on job requirements, optimizing time and minimizing travel.
Your Profile
  1. Previous experience in administration, claims handling, or customer service.
  2. Experience in customer interactions via phone, demonstrating empathy, especially with distressed customers.
  3. Knowledge of claims management tools and systems is an asset but not required.
  4. Experience working in a team and supporting colleagues.
  5. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
