Our client, a respected insurance company, has a new opening for an experienced Income Protection Claims Assessor. This is a full-time permanent position, specifically working on disability claims, including Income Protection and Critical Illness products. The role offers a hybrid work model with flexibility to work from home.
You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately assessing Income Protection claims, supporting clients regarding absence management, identifying non-valid and fraudulent claims, and ensuring accurate assessment of liability. Additionally, you will oversee the timely review and follow-up of all income protection claims in payment to verify continued entitlement to benefits, implement mitigating measures, and ensure accurate claims reserving.
Applicants should possess excellent technical knowledge and awareness of Group Income Protection claim assessment and management. Previous claims decision-making authority is an essential requirement.
