Job Description

Claims Assessor (Customer Service) – Private Medical Insurance

Starting salary between £25,100 – £28,500 (depending on hours, location, skills, and experience). Our standard full-time contracts are for 35 hours per week, with options for part-time working after an initial 18-week training period. We also offer a 40-hour contract with an enhanced salary of up to £31,200.

Flexible shift pattern between Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 18:30, and 1 Saturday shift every 6 weeks: 09:00 – 13:00.

We are looking for passionate individuals who excel in delivering excellent customer service and supporting customers through their health claims journey, including overnight care, outpatient treatment, diagnostic tests, scans, or aftercare.

Skills and Experience
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in customer service roles
  • Empathy and ability to support customers during challenging times
  • Fact-finding skills to ask the right questions and process claims efficiently
  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate decision-making
  • Knowledge of insurance products or financial services is a plus but not essential
