Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consulting Delivery team in Bristol at MercerMarsh Benefits. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

The role: Claims Analyst.

This is a challenging and rewarding role with varied responsibilities. The focus is on providing first-class service to beneficiaries and clients going through bereavement, supporting claims processing within a master trust setting.

You will be responsible for onboarding clients to the master trust, ensuring processing is timely, and providing excellent customer service to clients and consultants.

The key part of this role is gathering information about potential beneficiaries to advise trustees on the payment of death benefits. This involves written and verbal communication, with full training provided on handling difficult conversations empathetically.

We will count on you to:
  • Adhere to MercerMarsh Benefits processes and maintain accurate records to meet targets.
  • Take ownership of tasks and proactively manage workload for timely delivery.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent service.
  • Handle client and member queries (verbal and written) in line with service level agreements, ensuring quality through a right-first-time approach.
What you need to have:
  • Knowledge and experience of master trusts/corporate trusts.
  • Proven track record of delivering first-rate customer service.
  • Understanding of group risk/trust benefits.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse client and stakeholder portfolio.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with experience in call handling.
