Job description

Our client, a leading Lloyd's Broker, is looking for someone with experience in the Natural Resources claims arena, ideally with emphasis on Power claims, to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The role involves working on accounts with global exposure placed into the London market, requiring hybrid working arrangements, collaborating with their existing team and the broader company network.

Applicants should have a good knowledge of natural resources / power market key leaders and adjusters, with technical and complex claims handling experience, ideally gained from the London market. Applicants from an Energy, Power, or Property claims background will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Regular liaison with claims colleagues, market experts, broking teams, and carriers to provide first-class service to clients.
  2. Advising and guiding clients on policy coverage.
  3. Leading claims negotiations through active advocacy with clients, insurers, experts, and loss adjusters.
  4. Managing claims relationships with major clients, including meetings and claims reports.
  5. Analyzing claims data to identify areas and trends of concern.
  6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and business procedures.
  7. Maintaining a claims diary with regular reviews.
  8. Involvement in new business opportunities, including tender preparation and pitches.
