Job description

An experienced Property Claims Administrator is required by a renowned Global Loss Adjusters firm to join their International Claims team. You will provide full administration and secretarial support to a Senior Adjuster and the team.

This role offers remote working with occasional attendance at the Head Office in London. Alternatively, it can be offered on a hybrid basis for those who prefer to work partly from an office based in central London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Senior Claims Coordinator and Senior Adjuster, you will support the team by managing administrative tasks, helping to improve efficiency and productivity in handling international claims, including Commercial Property and Liability.
  • Manage new claims, including receiving instructions, issuing acknowledgements, setting up files, and conducting risk screening and triaging.
  • Assist with the entire lifecycle of claims files, supporting diary management and proactive claim handling to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee Adjuster caseloads as needed, liaising with insured parties, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and act as a point of contact.
  • Support the production and typing of technical reports via dictation within agreed timelines, ensuring compliance with time reporting and billing, and issuing invoices.
About You
  • Previous or current experience in insurance claims is essential.
  • Experience in typing complex reports via dictation is essential.
  • Organized with the ability to manage workload independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, capable of establishing good working relationships with team members, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, busy environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and familiarity with various systems.
  • Able to exceed targets and meet deadlines.
Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive annual basic salary.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
