Job description

An experienced Property Claims Administrator is required by a renowned Global Loss Adjusters to join their International Claims team, providing full administration and secretarial support to a Senior Adjuster and the team.

This is a remote working role with occasional attendance at Head Office in London, either annually or on a hybrid basis at a central London office.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Reporting to the Senior Claims Coordinator and Senior Adjuster, support the team in handling International Claims, including Commercial Property and Liability.
  2. Manage new claims: receive instructions, issue acknowledgements, set up files, and perform risk screening and triaging.
  3. Assist throughout the claims lifecycle, supporting diary management and proactive claim management towards resolution.
  4. Oversee caseloads when required, liaising with insured parties, insurers, brokers, and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  5. Support the production and typing of technical reports via dictation within set timelines, ensuring compliance with time reporting and billing, and manage invoicing.

About You

  • Previous or current insurance claims experience is essential.
  • Experience in typing complex reports via dictation is essential.
  • Organized with the ability to manage workload independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, capable of building good working relationships with team members, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, busy environment.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and familiar with various systems.
  • Aim to exceed targets and deadlines.
