An established industry player is seeking a passionate CLA Teacher for a virtual school, dedicated to supporting looked after children. Qualifications

Northern Local Authority (travel across educational settings)

Pay:

£400 - £500 per day - 3 Month Contract

Virtual School for Looked After Children

A local authority in the North of England is seeking experienced Casual Associate Teachers to provide short-term educational interventions for looked after children.

This role supports pupils who are struggling to engage in education or are at risk of exclusion, helping them reintegrate into school or alternative provision.

Your role as a CLA Teacher (Virtual School):
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group support sessions
  • Support pupil reintegration into educational settings
  • Promote inclusive practices and positive behaviour
  • Liaise with carers, schools, and external agencies
  • Manage challenging behaviour and support emotional development
Your experience as a CLA Teacher (Virtual School):
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree
  • GCSEs (A-C) in English & Maths or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in schools or similar provisions
  • Experience working with looked after or vulnerable children
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
