Job description

Administration Assistant
Forres Treatment and Care Hub/ Various

22.5 hours a week - Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant with the Community Hospital admin team. We are a small but very friendly team.

The successful applicant will require excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills, with a confident, courteous, and friendly approach to patients and colleagues. Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated, have the ability to work well as part of a team, provide cross cover to departments as required, and have previous experience in an administration role. This post can be very varied.

A high standard of verbal and written communication skills is essential, along with accuracy and attention to detail. Proven experience with MS Office systems is required. Training will be provided, but the successful applicant must be capable of producing accurate outcomes and working independently. The post involves providing administration support to wards and clinics, mainly based in Forres, but also supporting other teams within Moray—Dufftown, Aberlour, Buckie, and Keith. Since the role involves handling medical records, the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information is essential.

Applicants will require a driving license and access to a car.
