Location: Basingstoke, Southampton or Portsmouth. (Office Based)
Contract: Permanent/Part Time
Hours: 18.5 hours per week (Part time)
Closing Date: Sunday 10th August 2025 at 23:59 hours
Are you someone who enjoys highly detailed work, has the ability to work on your own initiative, is willing to take ownership of your work, and is resilient?
If so, then you could be the person we are looking for to join our small team who transcribe suspect interviews, victims' first accounts, and 999 calls. Although you are part of a team, much of the work is carried out independently as you will be watching and listening to recordings, which can contain sensitive and possibly highly sensitive material, to extract relevant information to support cases that Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are taking to Crown Court.
While your primary task is transcribing, you will also be booking and logging recordings and liaising with police officers and the imaging department to ensure proper receipt and clarity of images.

Educated to QCF Level 2 (3-5 passes) or equivalent work experience.
Experience in a busy administrative environment, managing complex tasks to a high standard, and handling sensitive information with resilience.
