Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Civils Team Leader to run the civils team on site, delivering work to client SLAs in a cost‑effective, safe manner. You will provide technical guidance, coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors, and liaise with the scheduling team to keep programmes on track.

You will coach and develop staff, support KPI delivery, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and our Safe Working Procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading civils teams on site (≤140 chars).
• Ability to coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors (≤140 chars).
• Knowledge of client SLA delivery and KPI focus (≤140 chars).
• Strong health and safety compliance (≤140 chars).

Responsibilities

• Oversee civils team and in-day activities.
• Organise labour, wages, and absence management.
• Manage subcontractors, materials and plant.
• Conduct monthly team briefings.
• Coach staff to improve performance and culture.
• Support defect programmes and KPI meetings.
• Perform audits and ensure right behaviours.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and health & safety standards.
• Cover all civils works; align with procedures.
