The Role
As a Freelance Civil Site Manager, you will take on a leadership role overseeing the daily operations of the site, with the following responsibilities:

• Supervising engineers and subcontractors to ensure the smooth operation of the site
• Ensuring all work meets specified client requirements and is delivered to a high standard
• Reporting regularly on site progress to the Project Manager
• Promoting a culture of health and safety awareness across the site
• Ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are completed for all aspects of the work

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:

• A degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline
• Experience working with roads, utilities, S278s, and deep drainage; experience in water projects is advantageous but not essential
• A strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety practices, and legal regulations
• Previous experience working within the civil engineering industry
• A valid UK driving licence
• A CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications
