Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering
Strong civils/groundworks background
Experience with drainage packages is a plus
Commercial and contractual awareness essential
Ability to manage projects from procurement through to final account
Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

Manage projects from procurement through to final account
Provide commercial and contractual guidance across civils, groundworks and drainage schemes
Prepare and monitor budgets, estimates and cost plans
Support estimation and tendering activities where required
Assist in supplier and subcontractor negotiations to ensure best value
