A prestigious industrial contractor operating in environment, defence and energy sectors is currently looking for a civil works QA/QC. Our client has been in the industry for over 100 years with a turnover over 500 million in the last year.

The candidate will be working on a waste treatment and recovery plant project in London. Will be responsible for supervision and implementation of all testing whilst coordinating with other teams to perform quality audits on various processes. Desirable background in works of civil engineering.

To be successful in getting selected for this role you must have/be:

  • Previous experience of supervision of multi discipline Project support teams
  • Experience of working on major Civil/Building works projects with oil and gas involvement
  • Communicate Quality Assurance requirements across the site/s
  • Management of inspection and production records
  • Frequent review of various production checklists
  • QA planning activity
  • Review/amend/write Quality Assurance documentation following company procedures and using supporting forms
  • Ensure QA Documentation is in place prior to excavation or using any product on site
  • Monitor and measure Management System effectiveness
  • Attend site meetings
  • Attend SHEQ meetings
  • Facilitate improvement actions, ensuring they are implemented and closed within agreed timescales

Competitive day rate with possibility to roll on contract.
