The role requires expertise in managing large-scale civil engineering initiatives and emphasizes communication and analytical skills. Orion Group is working with a successful and well-established Civil Engineering client to source a Civils Project Manager to join their team based in Northern Scotland.
As the Civils Project Manager, you will initially oversee a large Earthworks project to make way for a new Substation and associated buildings.
Applicants can be based in Glasgow or the Highlands until Q1 2026 and will then be site-based on the Isle of Lewis for the duration of the project.
You will be skilled in the delivery of civil engineering projects, preferably with experience in large Earthworks projects within renewable energy, Power & Transmission, highways, or marine construction, exceeding £10m in value.
This means you also have a commercial mindset with a good understanding of commercial contracts (NEC3/4).
