Job summary

Sphere Solutions is recruiting an experienced Civils Planner for a hybrid role in the Bridgwater area. The role focuses on developing robust civil engineering programmes and supporting major infrastructure projects using Primavera P6.

You will work closely with project teams to align methodologies, sequencing and key project requirements, while monitoring progress and communicating updates to stakeholders. This position offers hybrid working arrangements and opportunities across high-profile

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Planner in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience planning major civils and infrastructure projects.
• Proven Primavera P6 experience.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and programme development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing detailed construction programmes from first principles using Primavera P6.
• Collaborating with project teams to understand construction methodologies, sequencing and requirements.
• Monitoring progress against the programme and identifying delays, risks, and improvements.
• Producing regular programme updates, progress reports and analyses for stakeholders.
• Supporting project teams with programme strategy, planning and controls.
• Challenging assumptions and providing practical planning solutions for project delivery.
• Working with clients, contractors and wider project teams to share knowledge.
