Where will you be working?

At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team. As the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?

You'll work as part of a team undertaking highways repairs, ranging from drainage,footways, patching, potholes and general highway maintenance.

You'll usetechnology(tablets/apps)to input safety data and maintenance records. Drive/operateplant and equipment wheretrained,necessary for the for the dayto day tasks set.

Part of the role is to take responsibility for vehicles/plant/materials in your charge. Where appropriate you'll provide direction/supervision of the work to less experience doperatives.

We'll ask you to undertakewinter and emergency maintenance out of hours activities on a standbyrota.

What you’ll bring

New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) Operative Accreditation
Lantra 12d
Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers. A commitment to Health and Safety
Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy
Clean driving License
Highways experience
CSCS Card
LGV Class C OR capability to gain this during probation.
