Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking experienced Groundworkers for a project in Millerhill, Edinburgh. You will install drainage, lay kerbs, read drawings, and work to RAMS on civil site duties.

The role is full-time on a contract basis with an immediate start for suitable candidates; CSCS required and plant tickets preferred. Competitive hourly rate (£21–£22) with long-term opportunities in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Groundworker.
• Experience in drainage and kerbing installation.
• Experience working on construction or civils sites.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and setting-out information.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• Own hand tools.
• Valid CSCS card (Groundworker or relevant card).
• Reliable, punctual and committed to quality workmanship.
• Plant tickets desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Installing drainage systems, including pipework, manholes and chambers.
• Laying kerbs and edgings accurately and to the required levels.
• Excavating and preparing ground, trenches and sub-bases.
• Backfilling, compacting and reinstating as required.
• Working from drawings, specifications and instructions from supervisors.
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Complying with all health and safety procedures, including RAMS.
• Working independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

We are currently looking for experienced Groundworkers to join our client s team on a project in Millerhill, Edinburgh. The successful candidates will have a proven background in groundworks, with hands-on experience in drainage and kerbing.
