XAD Technologies in the United Kingdom is seeking an operative to install duct, chambers, cabinets and related equipment for highway projects. You will work on open cut trenching and install new duct in verge, footway and carriageway, ensuring compliance with NRSWA guidelines.

The role involves locating blockages, clearing diverse surface types, reinstate, sub-ducting and installing draw rope or cable, plus working in UG and PIA networks while following Health and Safety laws.

Responsabilités

• Provide new installation of duct, chambers, cabinets & associated equipment.
• Locating and clearing of blockages in surface types such as verge, footway and carriageway and reinstate.
• Open cut trenching and installation of new duct and associated equipment in all surface types, verge, footway and carriageway
• Sub-ducting and Install new draw rope or cable in new duct as required
• Excavating in the highways and complying with NRSWA Code of Practice 1991 and HSG47
• Working in the UG and PIA network whilst adhering to Health and Safety legislation
