Job description

Overview;

We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Foreman or Supervisor to oversee works on a new infrastructure project in Caithness.

This role is available on both a long-term freelance basis or as a permanent position, offering flexibility to suit the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and daily site operations
• Ensure works are completed safely, to programme, and to the required quality standards
• Liaise with the site manager, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain site records and contribute to daily reporting
• Promote a strong health & safety culture at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Civils Foreman or Supervisor on civil engineering projects
• Strong background in infrastructure works such as earthworks, drainage, concrete, or utilities
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• First Aid at Work (preferred)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work in the Caithness area (accommodation available for non-local candidates)
