VEA Telecoms UK is currently recruiting for the roles of Civils Operatives. The position is based in Manchester but requires working across various sites in Manchester, Birmingham, and Cumbria weekly.

Due to the high risks involved, Civils Operatives must be responsible individuals with a strong focus on safety. The ideal candidate should also have experience in different kinds of groundworks.

Key responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for safety, quality, and environmental standards on your work site, as well as the welfare of colleagues.
• Plan and coordinate site works according to client instructions and the Operations Manager.
• Ensure equipment, materials, and site arrangements are prepared at the start of each day, which may require early starts.
• Conduct daily risk assessments and ensure all safety, health, and environmental requirements are met to maintain a safe working environment.
• Experience in dealing with blockages and reinstatements.

This role is essential for progressing to the build stage before reinstatement, supporting the growth of our Telecoms presence.
