Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Civil Designer to support the Enabling works package for the SIXEP/SCP facility, delivering service diversions, drainage schemes, earthworks and road layouts within a BIM-enabled, regulated environment.

You will create 3D surfaces, develop corridor models, and review GA drawings using Revit, Civil 3D and Autodesk Design Review, ensuring compliance with British and European standards.

Responsibilities

• Model Management – Create and maintain complex 3D surfaces using points, breaklines, and boundaries.
• Corridor Design – Develop intelligent 3D roadway models using alignments, profiles, and custom assemblies.
• Using Revit and Autodesk Design Review to produce and review GA and detail drawings in a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment.
• Experience using British and European Standards and Building Regulations, and the methodologies required when detailing elements.
• Detailing below ground drainage and services; groundworks; steelwork and reinforced concrete.
• Checking of modelling and drawing output.

Project

As a Civil Designer you will be specifically working on the Enabling works package to support the development of a treatment facility for SIXEP and SCP secondary waste.

The works will include service diversions; development of service and drainage schemes; earthworks; vehicle tracking; road layouts; developing new schemes connecting into existing infrastructure; producing foundation drawings and details.
