Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer to join an established team of engineers, focusing on definition, implementation and delivery of civil/structural works to meet safety and business requirements.

The role requires proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD 2D, Autodesk Design Review, Navisworks and Civils 3D within a BIM environment, with familiarity of UK/EU standards and CDM duties. Hybrid/flexible working options available.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Civil/Structural Designer to join a established team of Civil and structural engineers, in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements. Reporting to the CS&A Responsible Engineer, Lead CS Engineer and the wider engineering management and cross discipline.

• Experience using Revit, AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Design Review to produce and review GA and detail drawings, in a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment.
• Experience using British and European Standards and Building Regulations, and the methodologies required when detailing elements.
• Experience in detailing below ground drainage and services; groundworks; steelwork and reinforced concrete.

As a Civil/Structural Designer you will also have:

• Civil / structural engineering HND/ degree qualified with post graduate experience.
