Civil Engineering Technician

Our client is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their growing team in Plymouth. The consultancy focuses on building strong relationships and delivering design solutions for the domestic and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting highway and drainage plans, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Collaborating effectively within a team and training junior technicians.
• Using AutoCAD proficiently; familiarity with PDS, Causeway Flow, and other Civil Engineering software is a plus.
• Working with housing developers and understanding Highway Authority Sections 38 and 278, Water Authority Sections 104 and 185 agreements.
• Managing time efficiently, working under pressure, and extending hours when necessary.

Qualifications:

• HNC/HND or higher in Civil Engineering.
