Overview

Graduate Design Engineer – Temporary Works and Piling/Foundations in Manchester. This permanent role offers an annual salary of £29,000 – £31,000.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shoring and Below Ground propping design team and the above-ground team in Manchester.
• Combine Geotechnics with Structural Analysis and design, including bespoke steelwork designs and connections.
• Work on Major Projects including propping for deep basements.
• Participate in full training and the company’s chartership training scheme to achieve chartered status as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Degree or masters in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Keen interest in Geotechnical Engineering, including pile design, SI interpretation, and deep excavation support.
• Some experience in the engineering industry after university is preferred, but exceptional recent graduates will also be considered.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
