Civil & Structural Engineer – Major LNG Project (Milan-based, potential relocation to Mozambique)

Project Value: $18B+

Location: Milan (Engineering Phase), with potential site relocation

Contract: Long-term, rotational/site-based opportunity

Join a landmark LNG development project in East Africa. This role will focus on the design, execution, and oversight of complex civil infrastructure as part of a large multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee design and execution of civil works including roads, drainage, culverts, and underground networks
2. Review and approve civil engineering deliverables (1,000+ documents)
3. Ensure alignment with HSE standards and project engineering specifications
4. Interface with contractor teams (260+ engineers) and support on-site activities
5. Support material selection, testing, and technical issue resolution during construction

Requirements

1. Degree in Civil, Hydraulic, or Transportation Engineering
2. 8+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or oil & gas projects
3. Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and civil design standards
4. Strong understanding of geotechnical, structural, and hydraulic systems
5. Fluent in English; experience in international project environments is a plus
