The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity, for a Civil/Structural engineer to join a global consultancy, working on major Nuclear infrastructure project.You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, the lead draftsman, and the wider drafting team to address construction team queries related to the design packages.
The Role
Employment Type: Permanent/Would consider inside IR35 contract
Location: 3 days in Aztec West
Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Modifying designs for reinforced concrete or steel structures in accordance with the ETC-C, Eurocodes, and applicable project methodologies.
• Reviewing and coordinating detailing work with CAD designers and engineers to develop 3D BIM rebar models and/or 2D drawings for reinforced concrete or steel structures.
• Managing engineering modifications in compliance with company and project procedures, including established quality assurance processes.
• Leading the evaluation and response to Field Change Requests, Field Information Requests, and Site Non-Conformance Reports issued by civil works contractors.
• Collaborating with site engineering and construction teams to clarify and resolve site-related queries.
• Conducting technical reviews and approvals of contractor-submitted deliverables.
• Performing site walkdowns and inspections as required

You will have the following qualifications & experience

• Degree in civil/Structural engineering.
• Engineering design office experience, particularly in the design and detailing of industrial reinforced concrete structures or steelworks.
• Experience in the nuclear sector would be advantageous.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering andthe design and detailing of reinforced concrete.
• Understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
