Crafter Engineering in the United Kingdom is seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to fill a Design Engineer role. You will design and assess steel, reinforced concrete, and timber structures, plus temporary propping, demolition stability, excavation support, and scaffold design for infrastructure, demolition, and heavy industry projects.

You will lead projects, prepare calculations, drawings and reports, and provide technical support on site.

Competenze

Must have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Working towards Chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
Proven experience in engineering design including civil/structural areas.
Strong understanding of relevant design codes and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Mansioni

Develop and deliver temporary works designs in accordance with BS 5975 and Eurocodes.
Lead projects on Crafter's behalf, presenting to clients, contractors and stakeholders.
Produce detailed calculations, drawings and reports to support design solutions.
Provide technical support during construction including site visits and inspections.
Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and procedures.
Help Crafter define a new standard of quality for the industry.
