Build Recruitment is recruiting a Civil Project Lead in Reading to drive civil engineering projects from concept through detailed design to delivery within the water and wastewater sector. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client and stakeholder expectations on time and budget.

The role requires a degree in civil engineering, and you should be progressing toward ICE chartership, with hands-on experience in hydraulic design for open and closed channels and raft foundations.

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer or equivalent.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status with the ICE.
• Experience originating hydraulic designs for open and closed channels.
• Experience originating structural designs for raft foundations supporting single-storey structures.
• Background in civil engineering design and project delivery, ideally within the water or wastewater sector.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

Build Recruitment is working with a leading engineering and infrastructure business to recruit a Civil Project Lead to join its team in Reading.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer looking to step into a Project Leadership role, as well as an established Project Lead seeking their next challenge.

Working within the water and wastewater sector, you'll be involved in delivering engineering projects from initial design through to construction and completion, working alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate civil engineering projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery.
• Work closely with civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineering teams.
• Coordinate with Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme.
• Manage project budgets, resources, risks and delivery milestones.

About You
