Overview

We are currently in partnership with a London Borough who are recruiting for an experienced Litigation Lawyer on an initial 3-month temporary contract.

This is a London-based position with once a week on site. The contract is full-time at 35 hours per week, with a rate of £55.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

The main purpose of this role is to provide a range of legal support to help ensure the successful delivery of the initiatives.

  • Dealing with a mixed case load and range of litigation matters including but not limited to: Debt recovery (high and low value); Service Charges; Claims under Equality Act; Parking Disputes
Experience and qualifications
  • Working for local government, preferably a London Borough
  • Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX, or similar legal qualification and authorised to conduct legal work
  • A proven track record in dealing with a wide range of litigation matters, as well as a thorough knowledge of civil procedure and practice
Working hours
  • Full time (35 hours a week)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Once a week on site
