Job summary

Penguin Recruitment in Leeds seeks a Civil Engineer to join a major multidisciplinary design team. You will contribute to civil infrastructure design across defence, education, public realm, aviation and wider development sectors, from early concept through to construction.

The role offers technical development, varied project exposure and clear progression within a flexible, supportive team. A degree in Civil Engineering and familiarity with BIM are desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Experience in civil infrastructure or development design
• Interest in SuDS, drainage and external works
• Awareness of BIM and digital design processes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil infrastructure design for multidisciplinary projects
• Produce designs in line with current standards and codes
• Support SuDS, drainage, access roads and external works design
• Assist with statutory approvals and planning submissions
• Work within BIM, quality and technical assurance procedures
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and wider design teams
