Job Description
Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a Civil Infra (Pipeline) Discipline Lead to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA).
The 330km Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Project by Anglian Water is under construction and will be completed during AMP8. Beyond this we have a further 260km of water transfer pipelines and associated infrastructure to be delivered in AMP8.
What will you be doing as our new Civil Infra (Pipeline) Discipline Lead
The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is a ~£1.8Bn framework delivering 500km+ of transfer pipelines, with associated storage and pumping assets, across the East of England supporting reduction of abstraction in sensitive aquifers and significant regional growth.
In this role, you would be the technical lead for the infrastructure pipeline design across the SPA framework supporting the delivery of the SPA programme, You will be required to complete design activities to support efficient, safe and environmentally sound construction.
You will be the recognised ‘go-to’ person within SPA for technical input around pipeline design activities and issues, ensuring quality and consistency of design function outputs and leading improvement activities to support efficient delivery of SPA infrastructure pipeline elements.

This role is employed by Mott MacDonald but will involve working across the joint venture business, both with Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley colleagues.
