Civil Engineers All Levels - Water Infrastructure, Drainage or Flood Risk

Due to increasing workload, RPS is seeking to recruit Civil Engineers, Senior Civil Engineers, and Principal Engineers with experience in designing major civil engineering schemes, including water infrastructure, drainage, and flood alleviation schemes. Positions will be based in our Belfast, Glasgow, or Edinburgh offices.

We have a long-term order book for flood alleviation schemes across Ireland and Scotland. Join us for support and career development, as part of a team of industry-leading experts committed to delivering successful projects.

About the Northern Ireland Business:

Our Northern Ireland and Scottish operations employ over 300 staff, serving mainly public sector clients across Ireland and Scotland. About The Team:

Our engineers and scientists develop national strategies, feasibility studies, and design solutions for water drainage and flood risk management, applying the latest technology and techniques to plan for an uncertain future.

Experience:
  • Demonstrable experience in civil engineering projects, water infrastructure, and drainage
  • Interest or experience in river and coastal engineering, natural flood management
  • Ability to manage design stages from outline to detailed, including construction and handover
  • Experience with UK and Irish clients is preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MX Design, and MS Project is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
  • MEng/BEng or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Chartered or near Chartered status for senior roles
