Civil Engineering Technician
Central London | Full-Time | Competitive Salary, £35k - £50k (dependent on experience)

About Us

My client is a small but highly skilled civil & structural engineering consultancy with a team of passionate engineers. The civils team is led by an ICE-approved mentor, and they are big believers in professional development, collaboration, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. The projects span across London and the UK, offering the perfect blend of technical challenge and creative opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Producing detailed designs for drainage and highways schemes, including Section 278 designs
2. Using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create accurate technical drawings and models
3. Supporting senior engineers on the delivery of civil engineering elements from concept through to construction
4. Working on a variety of schemes from single plots to multi-million-pound developments

Key Skills Required

1. Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
2. Strong technical drafting and modelling skills
3. Good understanding of UK design standards and approval processes

Desirable but not essential skills

1. Experience with MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
2. Familiarity with Causeway Flow
3. Exposure to BIM workflows and 3D coordination
