This is an exciting opportunity to join our Rail Systems business, supporting the delivery of vital civil engineering projects across the UK's rail infrastructure network. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and designers, developing technical expertise while contributing to projects that have a lasting impact on communities and transport networks.
As a Civil Engineering Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Sitting between a traditional CAD Technician and a Design Engineer position, you'll combine technical drawing expertise with engineering support activities across a diverse range of rail and infrastructure projects.
Working within the Civils Design team, you'll support the production of drawings, 3D models, technical documentation and site survey information, while gaining valuable exposure to engineering design activities. This role offers excellent long-term career development potential, including progression towards Design Engineer positions.

This role is full time and based at our Hamilton site, near Glasgow. Hybrid working patterns are available. Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working arrangements available.
ONC in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
