You'll play a key role in producing designs that are ultimately constructed on site, helping to improve and maintain infrastructure that communities depend on every day.
Shape the future of critical rail infrastructure
As a Civil Design Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working within our Civils Design team, you'll be responsible for producing and checking detailed engineering designs for a range of rail infrastructure projects, including foundations, retaining walls, station platforms and lineside structures.
You'll collaborate with Design Managers, Senior Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant and cost-effective engineering solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your technical expertise while contributing to the growth of a highly respected rail engineering function.

This role is full time and is based at our Birmingham office. Hybrid working patterns are available, with the team typically working towards three days per week on site. Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working arrangements available.
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification.
