Job summary

Caulmert is seeking a hands-on Head of Civil Engineering to lead and grow its civil service line across infrastructure, highways, drainage and development schemes. You will shape delivery standards, drive performance and develop the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status with ICE or equivalent.
• Typically 15+ years in civil/multi-disciplinary delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the civil engineering service line with clear priorities.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to engineers and project managers.
• Oversee design reviews, risk, and resource planning across projects.
• Maintain live portfolio oversight and client relationships.
