FM Conway is currently seeking to employ an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our Major Projects team. Based at our Head Office in Sevenoaks, you will cover projects in Kent and London. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and a wide range of benefits.

The Civil Engineering Project Manager Role

As our Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will play a vital role in planning, executing, and finalising the delivery of strategic projects. This includes advising on buildability, health and safety documentation, and the preparation of the tender programme.

Responsibilities of our Civil Engineering Project Manager

• Work with the Contracts Manager to ensure proper project setup, resource allocation, plant, labour, and materials.
• Support the pre-contracts team in preparing PQQs and tenders.
• Coordinate the handover of pre-tender information to the construction team.
• Assist in preparing the contract programme.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and the critical path.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Proactively manage scope changes, identify issues, and develop mitigation plans.
