Graduate Civil Engineer. We're looking for Graduate Civil Engineers to join our NRNN & Transportation teams based across various locations across the Midlands.

Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks - We provide design, build and maintenance solutions to protect the UK's essential services and assets. Working across the water, nuclear and other decarbonised energy, environmental and waterways sectors, we provide sustainable and safe solutions for our clients and customers whilst protecting and restoring natural habitats.

Locations: Midlands - With flexibility to travel/relocate

Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum with potential £4,750 car allowance depending on eligibility

Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k

Starting date: September 2026

What you will be responsible for

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our engineering team, helping to shape the future of construction across the UK. You'll have the chance to work in a variety of teams, either on-site where the action happens or in a design-based role, depending on where your interests lie.

What will your day-to-day duties include
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications
  • Supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets
  • Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success
  • Preparing technical reports, documentation, and providing project updates
