Job Description:

Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice

RPS is looking for a Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice for our Renewable Energy Infrastructure business based in Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will work 4 days a week with RPS and study 1 day a week on their university programme. The role involves assisting in civil infrastructure design packages for renewable energy projects, including onshore wind, offshore wind land-based works, and other renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include design of on-site access, public road modifications, watercourse crossings, and sustainable drainage. An interest in multidisciplinary knowledge is desirable to support environmental, geotechnical, structural disciplines, site investigations, environmental impact assessments, foundations, bridges, and building design packages.

Qualifications:
  • SQA Highers at BBBB or ABBBB (Mathematics desirable but not essential)
  • A-Levels at ABC or BBB
  • Foundation Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering with SQA Highers at AAB (Mathematics desirable but not essential)
  • Combination of qualifications totaling 96 SCQF credits at level 6 or 126 UCAS points
