Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice

RPS is looking for a Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice for our Renewable Energy Infrastructure business based in Edinburgh .

The successful candidate will work 4 days a week with RPS and study 1 day a week on their university programme. The role will involve assisting the delivery of civil infrastructure design packages for renewable energy projects for our contractor and developer clients. The projects include onshore wind, the land-based works for offshore wind and other renewable energy projects. The design experience would include on-site access and off-site public road modifications incorporating geometry design, watercourse crossings and sustainable drainage design. An interest in developing multidisciplinary knowledge is desirable and will assist supporting environmental, geotechnical, structural disciplines to enable delivery of site investigations, environmental impact assessment services, foundation, bridges and buildings design packages.

Qualifications:

·SQA Highers at BBBB or ABBBB (Mathematics desirable but not essential)

·A-Levels at ABC or BBB

·Foundation Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering in conjunction with SQA Highers at AAB (Mathematics desirable but not essential)

·A combination of qualifications totalling 96 SCQF credits at level 6 or Minimum 126 UCAS points
