Are you an experienced Civil Engineering professional with a passion for mentoring and developing future industry talent? We’re looking for a dedicatedCivil Engineering - Assessor to join a leading Further Education provider in Cambridge.

In this rewarding role, you’ll support and inspire apprentices at different stages of their learning journey, helping them develop the practical skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed for success in the civil engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of learners, providing regular progress reviews and high-quality feedback.
  • Support apprentices in building strong portfolios and preparing for End-Point Assessments (EPA).
  • Collaborate with employers to identify practical tasks and training opportunities aligned with apprenticeship standards.
  • Monitor and document learner progress in accordance with quality assurance requirements.
  • Deliver targeted training sessions that also develop wider life skills.
  • Ensure compliance with college and awarding body policies and practices.

Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use is essential for this role.
