Paul Basham Associates Ltd. invites applications for an Apprentice Civil Engineer to join our team and pursue a Level 6 Civil Engineering Apprenticeship. You will work on drainage, highways and development projects while gaining practical skills and academic knowledge.

You will learn design software such as AutoCAD, Infodrainage and Site 3D, shadow senior engineers, and receive mentoring. The role includes 37.5 hours weekly, 4 office days and 1 day at university, with a 5‑year program.

Formación

• GCSEs in English and Maths required at Grade 5 or equivalent.
• Relevant subject, i.e. Engineering, Maths or Physics (BBB-BBC) required.
• Further GCSE equivalent grades including Merit, DDM-MMM, or 104–112 points.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with drainage design and highway development.
• Support delivery of Section 278 and 38 highway schemes.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, local authorities and stakeholders.
• Gain experience using AutoCAD, Infodrainage and Site 3D.
• Shadow senior engineers with mentoring and professional development support.
• Contribute to projects across residential, commercial, education and mixed-use developments.
• Develop understanding of engineering design principles and project management.
