The Role

The Civil Engineer will play a vital part in designing and delivering water infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing civil engineering designs, including hydraulic and structural calculations.
• Producing technical specifications, detailed reports, and schedules.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, safe, and practical solutions during all project stages—from design to commissioning.
• Performing site and asset surveys to inform design decisions.
• Integrating sustainability principles, including whole-life carbon considerations and circular economy strategies, into designs.
• Managing interfaces between civil designs and other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineering.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Progression toward professional accreditation/Chartership (IEng or CEng)
• A systematic approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and the ability to manage projects effectively.
• A valid driving license and flexibility to travel to various sites as needed.
